Websites for physiotherapists.
A patient with back pain will not wait 6.5 seconds.

I measured 432 physiotherapy practice websites: a median load of 6.5 seconds, 88% over Google's threshold. Physio is a referral trade - but the second stream of patients, the one from search, leaks away through slow and outdated websites.

01What I found

Where sites in this trade lose clients. Beyond raw speed.

Speed opens the door, content closes the deal. These three patterns repeat across the measured sites in this trade - each one is fixable.

Appointments and the calendar live outside the site

Patients want to know the next free slot. Simple online booking - or even an up-to-date waiting time - makes the difference between a booking and a bounce.

  • 02

Everyone writes 'individual approach', nobody says for whom

A site that says plainly: spine, athletes, post-surgery rehab - catches the patient with that exact problem. Generalities catch nobody.

  • 03

Hidden prices make patients do their own maths

Physio is a cycle of visits; patients calculate the cost of a series. Clear per-visit and package prices keep comparison shoppers on your page.

Proof, not promises

I have built sites for the health sector (including the A2 Center medical clinic) - I know how to combine medical communication with what actually brings patients from Google.
